Welcome to my small footprint on the Internet. You will find my photos, videos and the occasional blog of what I find noteworthy, interesting or just plain stupid. I like to keep it simple and straightforward.

About me. I have been working in Information Technology since 1999. I have a BA in Economics from UCLA and an AA from Heald College. My interests include photography, video, and new technology in general.

My camera is a Nikon D700. My gear includes a Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IF ED DX VR lens for my D80, a Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 IF ED VR lens, 24-70mm f/2.8G, Nikkor 50mm 1.4, Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 micro, Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8, and a Nikon SB600 flash. I also use a mini-RC bracket from Custom Brackets.

My video cam is a Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1010 and a Sony CX500v camcorder. They're both small enough to fit in your pocket and they take good to very good video.

I also just got an iPad. There is an optonal camera connector you can get. basically it's either an SD card reader or a usb port for your camera. Haven't tried it in the field yet,but I'm sure it'll be fine.

The last piece of my equipment is an Apple Macbook Pro 17" laptop. I use it for editing and processing pics and video, and for upating my website.
